Worked with the Internal Revenue Service for seven years in Omaha, NE, Minneapolis, MN and at the Ogden Service Center in Ogden, Utah. While with the IRS, he has worked aas an examining agent, classifications officer (selecting returns for examiniation) and served on the District Director's Fraud Task Force.
After a year in Minneapolis with the IRS, accepted a position in the tax department of Ernst & Young (formerly Erenst & Whinney). Worked with Ernst for seven years and supervised a staff of CPA's asnd attorney's practicing in the areas of Corporate, Individual, Trust and Partnership taxation, planning and compliance. Through the Ernst and Young continuing education program at the University of Maryland Adult Education Center, received tax instruction from Georgetown Law School professors from their masters in taxation program.
Began practicing in 1992 as a sole practitioner in Wayzata, MN, Plymouth, MN and in MAple Grove, MN. He practices primarily in the areas of income tax preparation, planning and consulting for individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations. He has clients in various states and files multiple state tax returns for many of his clients. He is also asked to assist in resolving tax disputes and resolving tax notices issued by the Internal Revenue Service and the various state taxing agencies.
